[ legal ] Transparency

The rules, clear and in writing.

Here is how we work, what happens with your money, and what happens with your data. No fine print. If anything is unclear, ask us before we start: that conversation is exactly what prevents misunderstandings.

[01] Who's responsible

Who is behind this site.

Index01 is a remote web design, SEO, and AEO studio. Responsible: Ernesto Cisneros Cino, based in Miami, Florida (USA), working remotely with clients wherever they are. For anything, including legal matters, write to support@index01.net.

[02] How we work

A clear agreement before we start.

Before building anything we sign a written agreement that defines what gets built, what it costs, who provides what, and when payment happens. We work with an agreed number of revision rounds within scope. What you approve in writing stays approved; reopening something already closed is a new commission, with its own quote.

The project moves forward once you provide the materials: logo, images with clear rights to use them, copy, and the core decisions. While materials are missing, the timeline pauses: waiting time isn't working time. This is also covered, in more detail, on the Process page.

[03] Payments and delivery

The money, no surprises.

To reserve and begin, a 50% deposit is paid. The rest is settled before launch. The site goes live and the files are handed over to you once the final payment is covered.

All payments are made in US dollars (USD). If a currency conversion is needed on your side, that conversion and its cost are your responsibility. We also accept cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, BNB, USDT, and USDC. In that case, the price stays denominated in USD and we calculate the equivalent crypto amount at the exchange rate in effect the exact moment we send you the payment instruction (the address and the amount). That amount is valid for a short, agreed window (60 minutes by default): if the transaction confirms within that window, the USD value is honored even if the market moves; if it confirms later, we re-quote at a new rate to reflect the value actually received. Any later conversion to USD, and its volatility risk, are on us.

[ guarantee ] Free of charge

Every delivery includes, free and without signing up for maintenance, a 30-day guarantee to fix build-related bugs. That's our responsibility, not a service we charge for.

[04] What's yours

Your domain, your accounts, your site.

The domain, hosting, and email go in your name and on your payment method. We work with delegated access, never as the owner. When the final payment clears, the code and design of your project become yours.

If you're not technical, don't worry: we set everything up in your name and explain in plain language what each thing is (where your domain lives, how to log into your accounts, and what's worth keeping) so you never depend on anyone to control what's yours. If you want, we'll walk you through those first steps; the goal is for you to have control, not to be tied to us.

[05] Your data and privacy

What we do with your information.

If you write to us through the form, we collect only what you choose to tell us: your name, your email, and your message. That submission reaches our inbox through FormSubmit, an external service that only forwards the message. We use it to reply and understand your project. We don't sell it or share it with anyone.

For visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures in an aggregate, anonymous way, without cookies and without identifying you. We don't track you across the web.

If your project includes measurement with Meta or Google pixels, those are installed on your own site, with the consent notice the law requires. That measurement lives under each client's notice, not on this site.

[ your rights ] Access and deletion

You can ask us at any time for access to the data we hold about you, its correction, or its deletion. Write to support@index01.net and we'll handle it.

[06] Cookies

This site doesn't track you with cookies.

index01.net uses no tracking or advertising cookies. The analytics we use work without cookies, which is why you won't see a banner asking permission to track you: there's nothing to track.

[07] What we don't promise

Honesty about results.

We deliver the site technically ready to be found and cited from day one. But we don't guarantee a specific position in search engines or AI assistants, nor a timeframe to reach it. A site's authority is built over time and with external signals that don't depend on the code alone.

What we can tell you: if your goal is to be found and cited by AIs, maintenance helps. These systems tend to cite what's recent, and a site with stale data usually loses effectiveness over time. That's why we offer optional maintenance plans: to keep the site fresh and give you the best shot at that goal over time.

[08] Intellectual property

Ours is ours; yours is yours.

The content, code, and design of index01.net belong to Index01, except the work we deliver to a client as part of their project, which becomes theirs once settled. You may not copy, reuse, or create derivative works from this site without written permission.

About how it's built: we handcraft it with static HTML, CSS, and our own JavaScript (no heavy frameworks or template builders), Schema.org structured data, self-hosted fonts, and, where it adds value, WebGL graphics. Hosting is typically a static service like GitHub Pages. We tell you this so you know exactly what you get: clean, lightweight, portable code you can take and maintain anywhere, without being locked into a proprietary platform.
